Mr Ebenezer Adurodija marks appointment with special Thanksgiving Service

The Kogi State Ministry of Information and Communication personnel, along with various stakeholders, gathered at Our Savior’s Anglican Church in Lokoja recently to commemorate Mr. Ebenezer Adurodija’s appointment as Permanent Secretary of the ministry.

This appointment reflects Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s dedication to fostering exceptional leadership within the state government.

In his inspiring message titled “Service and Reward,” Venerable Menegbe, of Our Savior’s Anglican Church, urged Christians to prioritize God’s interests above personal gain. He emphasised the importance of selflessness, encouraging believers to seek divine purposes over selfish ambitions.

“God seeks faithful partners to advance His kingdom,” Venerable Menegbe stressed. “As Christians, we must focus on serving God’s agenda, not our own. By doing so, we open ourselves to divine rewards and blessings.

Venerable Menegbe, exhorted Ebenezer to perpetually acknowledge God’s unwavering faithfulness in his life, emphasizing: “Your greatest influence lies within. Engage in an ongoing internal dialogue, reaffirming your identity and purpose. Recognize God’s steadfast presence. You are your most significant influence. Cultivate self-awareness through introspection. Continuously remind yourself of your values and strengths, he said.”

Mr. Ebenezer Adurodija expressed heartfelt gratitude to God for the privilege of serving the people and to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for appointing him Permanent Secretary of the Kogi State Ministry of Information and Communication. He acknowledged the governor’s faith in his abilities, pledging to utilize this opportunity diligently and purposefully.

With humility, Mr. Adurodija assured the people of Kogi State that they can expect exceptional service from him, vowing not to disappoint them under any circumstances. This commitment underscores his dedication to the role and responsibility that comes with this esteemed position.

As a seasoned journalist, poet, blogger and media practitioner, Mr. Adurodija brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having authored several books and served in various capacities within the Kogi State Government. His expertise will undoubtedly enhance the ministry’s efforts in promoting transparency, public awareness and economic development in Kogi State.

Mr. Y.J. Itopa, Managing Director and CEO of The Graphic Newspaper, extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Ebenezer Adurodija on his appointment as Permanent Secretary of the Kogi State Ministry of Information and Communication.
