Lead by example, Ata Igala charges new Ochai Etutekpe, Chief John Ocholi

The Ata Igala and paramount traditional ruler of Igala Kingdom, HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, has charged the new Ochai Ata Igala Etutekpe in Dekina Local Government, Chief John Ocholi to lead by example and sustain his leadership qualities in the discharge of his duties.

The Ata Igala gave the charge while performing the traditional coronation and beading of Chief John Ocholi at a ceremony held at his palace in Idah.

He described the his current elevation as well deserved while acknowledging his exemplary leadership qualities in both his private and public endeavours as a pride to the lgala kingdom.

The Ata Igala then used the occasion to charge him to champion peace, unity, and progress, with specific focus on sustaining the traditions and cultural values of the kingdom with commitment.

Responding, the new Ochai Ata Igala Etutekpe, Chief John Ocholi , appreciated the traditional ruler for the honour and privileged to contribute his quota towards enhancing the growth of his community and the kingdom.

He also called of people of his community to shun social vicses that are enimical to the peace and development of Igala kingdom.
