“In his time in public service, both as a former Commissioner and Deputy Speaker, he epitomized leadership with integrity, wisdom, and dedication. He was a man deeply committed to the growth and development of Kogi State, serving as a bridge between governance and the people.

“His passion for justice, fairness, and equity was evident in the legislative strides he championed, ensuring that the voice of every citizen resonated within the chambers of the House. Beyond his legislative achievements, he was a source of inspiration and mentorship to many.

“His humility and approachability endeared him to all who had the privilege of working alongside him. Whether addressing matters of state or offering guidance in personal interactions, he remained steadfast in his commitment to uplifting others.

“As we bid farewell to this exceptional leader, we are reminded of the legacy he has left behind, a legacy of service, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the betterment of society.

“This hallowed chamber shall not remain the same without him, given his unique approaches to lawmaking and other legislative functions.

“His experience as a two-term lawmaker has taught many, who are having their legislative baptism, the proper manners of approaching activities in this arm of government.

“Though he may no longer be with us, his impact will continue to inspire generations to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.”
