The Dr John Yusuf-Suberu Campaign Organisation (JOYSCO) in Kogi State, has endorsed Professor Nentawe Yilwatda for the position of National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the party’s forthcoming National Convention.

The endorsement was announced in a statement signed by the organisation’s Chairman, Mr Mark Obasi, and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday.

Obasi said the decision to back Yilwatda was driven by his impressive political credentials and track record, describing him as an honest, committed and formidable politician capable of steering the APC to greater heights.

“Our leader, Dr John Yusuf-Suberu, Senior Special Assistant (SSA), to Governor Ahmed Ododo, on Road Safety Matters, who is set to contest the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency seat in Kogi Central in 2027 and the entire campaign organisation are solidly rallying behind Yilwatda,” Obasi said.

He expressed satisfaction that the APC National Screening Committee, had cleared Yilwatda to contest for the chairmanship position at the national convention scheduled for 28–29 March in Abuja.

We firmly believe that his leadership will no doubt strengthen the APC’s prospects in the Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship, and State Houses of Assembly elections in 2027, he added.

Obasi further stated that Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Ododo, serving National and State Assembly members, political appointees, and APC members across the state were all united in their support for Yilwatda.
