Igbo community condoles Gov Ododo over father’s death

The Igbo community in Ebira land, has condoled the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, over the sad passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sanni Ododo.

The condolence is contained in a statement issued today in Okene by the president General of Igbo community in Ebira land, Chief Joseph Anikwe.

Chief Anikwe, described the late community leader as somebody who lived an exemplary life of discipline, dedication to service, compassion and exerts positive influence in the community.

The Igbo leader further stated that the legacy the deceased left behind, will remain a source of inspiration to others.

Chief Anikwe who also said that the passing of the great elder is indeed a great loss to his immediate family, Ebiraland and Kogi State. He urged those he left behind to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled life.

He then assured the governor that the Igbo community is in solidarity with him in prayers at this moment of grief.

He prayed Almighty God to grant the deceased eternal rest and give the family and Ebiras the fortitude to bear the great loss.
