Hon. Babazango empowers over 500 in Adamawa

No fewer than 500 people have benefited from an empowerment programme of N60,000 each, and farming inputs.

This was made possible by Honourable Abubakar Babazango, a member representing Yola North, Yola South and Girei Federal Constituency of Adamawa State.

Hon. Babazango as part of his electioneering campaign, promised to empower 500 people with N60,000 each, 500 bags of fertiliser and thousands of agricultural farming inputs.

Similarly, he has provided training skills for over 500 people both men and women in various skills including animal rearing in modern techniques.

According to Hon. Babazango, it is part of the efforts to promote self-sufficiency and economic growth to the people of his constituency by equipping and impacting the participants with the knowledge and resources needed to start their own ventures.

He added that: “The initiative is aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity, promote economic growth, and create a more prosperous and sustainable future for the people of my constituency. ”

At the end of the empowerment programme, each participant received a certificate, a financial grant of ₦60,000, essential farming tools, including generators, fertilisers, and spray pumps.

Items donated by Hon. Babazango includes, “500 bags of fertiliser, 500 water pumps, and 500 chemicals to the beneficiaries across the three local governments of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei.”
