Gov Ododo joins colleagues to brainstorm on regional challenges

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, joined colleagues in the Northern States Governors Forum to brainstorm on pressing regional issues.

During the meeting held in Kaduna,the governors examined issues centered around unemployment, out-of-school children, poverty, and socio-economic challenges.

Members of the forum equally examined the factors behind the #Endbadgovernance protests driven by insecurity with a view to identifying effective solutions to these pressing regional issues.

Represented the Deputy Governor,Comrade Joel Salifu, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade,was also part of the delegation to the meeting.

This meeting reflects the Forum’s proactive strategy to involve stakeholders and address pressing concerns.

The meeting was chaired by Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State and hosted by Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State.

Other participants included Governors from Nasarawa, Zamfara, Adamawa, Kwara, Borno, and Bauchi states, along with Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa.

Notable traditional leaders in attendance include the Sultan of Sokoto, the Shehu of Borno, the Emir of Zazzau, and the Ohinoyi of Ebira land.

By working together, the Northern Governors Forum is set to implement transformative changes and enhance the wellbeing of citizens.
