Gov. Ododo attends 8th day prayer for Asiwaju’s late father in Isanlu

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, today, attended the 8th Day Prayer in honour of late Pa Ijagbemi Asiru.

The late Asiru, who passed away last week, was the father of the State Commissioner of Finance, Budget, and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Idris Asiru.

Addressing a cross section of people in Isanlu, the Governor commiserated with the Ijagbemi family, the people of Isanlu, and the people of Yagba East as a whole.

He urged the people to emulate the life of service exemplified by the departed Pa Ijagbemi.

He also seized the opportunity to call for unity in the State, assuring the people of his commitment to security and development.
