From Joseph Adahnu , Yola

A group of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), from Fufore Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa State, has reaffirmed their loyalty to the party’s leadership in the state.

The group which was led by the Commissioner for Justice, Afraimu Jingi, during a courtesy and solidarity visit to PDP executives in Yola, said PDP has not experienced any significant loss with the defections of a few from the party.

The Commissioner, said their visit to the state’s party Chairman, Hamza Madagali, is a symbol of loyalty, unity, and commitment to the progress of PDP in the state.

His words, “We reaffirmed that Fufore LGA remain a steadfast pillar of the party, rooted in conviction and dedication. Come rain or come shine, Fufore LGA stands with the PDP and the administration of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri. Our loyalty is unwavering and time-tested. We have taken into account that we have lost no ground, and no voice has shifted from our last count. We have lost no one significant.’’

Jingi who congratulated Madagali on his emergence as the state chairman, commended Gov. Fintiri, for his achievements by making his government a people oriented administration with peace and visible development.

Jingi highlights that, “a very good example in Fufore LGA is the ongoing construction of the Girei–Wuro Bokki road, which is transforming the socio-economic and security landscape of our communities. we are the people of Fufore who are indebted to PDP for its commitment to development and inclusion,” he said.

In his respond, Adamawa PDP Chairman,  Hamza Madagali, commended the group for their solidarity and reaffirmed that PDP remained in full control of Adamawa. He described the visit as a clear indication of the group’s loyalty and commitment to the party.

Madagali emphasised that the latest development about the defection of Chief Joel Madaki, one of the party’s founding member, bosted that critical stakeholders, among others, are still in the party without minding the defection.

He said this is the time the party would continue to gain ground come 2027 general elections. “Our party is getting stronger day by day, and by 2027, PDP will be bigger than any political party in this Country.’’
