Amupitan, while addressing the Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs) at Garki, Abuja, urged the SPOs, not to compromise. “I’m sure you know your statutory duties, and I will urge you to take the pain, to take your time also to understand what is written in the manual.

“And of course, you have a key role to play. You are still going to train other people and please, I would urge you not to compromise because Nigeria is in dire need of a very stable and intellectual process.

“Our major target and focus here is the functionality of the BVAS which for us is a ‘game changer’ and we have improved on it, we are using this mock accreditation and mock election to test the functionality of the BVAS as well as the improvement that has been made”, he said.
