A critical stakeholder of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Barrister James Fabola, has congratulated a former Lawmaker in the State House of Assembly and two-time Special Adviser, Chief Eric Olorunjuwon Fiki, following his coronation as the Baale of Amuro Kingdom.
In a statement, Barrister Fabola described the honour as fitting and suitable given the pedigree of the person being honoured.
According to the legal luminary and party chieftain, who described Fiki as a homegrown politician and a developer, the honour did not come as a surprise, noting that Fiki has paid his dues.
“Hon. Fiki that I know is a grassroot politician, one that would spare no effort to ensure the wellness and wellbeing of his people. The title is not misplaced”, he remarked.
He further expressed confidence in Hon. Fiki to justify the huge trust and confidence reposed in him by the Alamuro of Amuro Kingdom, Oba Alfred Modupe Aiyedigbon and his cabinet as well as the entire people of Amuro Kingdom.
He noted that the former Lawmaker is a rare personality and his love for his people is uncommon, adding that by his new office, he would add more value to the lives of his people.
“I know the kind of person he is and I am confident that as the new Baale of Amuro Kingdom, he will use all at his disposal to make impact and leave enduring legacies. The Fiki that I know is a goal getter, forthright and resolute”, he stressed.
Barrister Fabola then prayed God to continue to grant Fiki good health, grace and wisdom as he labours hard to meet the expectations of the exalted office of the Baale of Amuro Kingdom.
He applauded the kingdom for also coronating Fiki’s wife, noting that, “behind every successful man, there is always a woman.”
