The Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, has congratulated Muslims across the state and the world at large on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid – el – Fitr.

The Speaker stated this in a press statement signed and made available to journalists by his Chief Press Secretary, Yabagi Mohammed.

The statement quoted the Speaker to have enjoined Muslims and the entire citizens of the state for their continued prayers for sustained security, peace and progress of the state.

He noted that the country currently faces security challenges with increased unslaught on innocent Nigerians, by criminal elements in far northern parts of the country, and expressed gratitude to the State government for its commitment to security of lives and property.
