The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Nwuchiola Egwaba, has expressed profound appreciation to friends, colleagues, and well-wishers for their overwhelming support during the burial of her late mother, late Mrs Margaret Uyo Nwuchiola.

In an appreciation message made available to Journalists, the Deputy Speaker said she was deeply touched by the show of love and solidarity extended to her and her family in their time of grief.
She noted that the presence of sympathizers, prayers offered, and kind gestures demonstrated by individuals and groups provided strength, comfort, and encouragement during the difficult period.

Rt. Hon. Egwaba, described the outpouring of support as humbling, adding that the contributions and messages received played a significant role in ensuring a successful and dignified burial for her mother.
She further prayed that God would bless and reward all those who stood by her family, while also asking that they be comforted in their own times of need.

The Deputy Speaker reiterated her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the burial, sent condolence messages, and made various contributions, describing their support as invaluable.
It would be recalled, that the Deputy Speaker, buried her mother recently, amidst prayers, tears, and heartfelt tributes with family, friends, and dignitaries, who gathered to celebrate the life of a woman who lived a remarkable life of faith, humility, and dedicated service to God.
In his condolence message, the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, who was represented by the State Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. Timothy Ojomah, sympathized with the Deputy Speaker and her family, praying for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased and reminding them that their mother lived a fulfilled and impactful life.
Rt. Hon. Comfort, who expressed her deep sense of loss during the burial, said she would greatly miss her mother’s discipline, resilience, wise counsel, and prayers.
The Deputy Speaker however, found consolation in the fact that her mother died in Christ, steadfastly upholding the banner of faith and preaching the gospel until her last moments.
Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba thanked all who came to celebrate her mother’s life, praying that God would richly reward them for their support and presence during the funeral.
