The Chapel of Grace, Federal University (FUL) Lokoja, played host to well wishers as Bishop Bolakayode Ajibade, celebrated three major milestones in Lokoja.

The event marked his 10 years of service as a Chaplain in Chapel of Grace FUL, his 25th wedding anniversary, and the launch of his book titled Treasured Legacies.
Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor of FUL, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, represented by his wife, Mrs Justina Akinwumi, described the celebrant as more than a bishop, calling him a father and mentor to many.

He noted that the celebrant has consistently nurtured souls and provided young people with guidance and light to discover purpose.
In his goodwill message, the Vice-Chancellor-Designate, Prof. Ibileye Gbenga, appreciated God for the life of the celebrant, describing him as a mentor, father and a soldier of faith.

According to him, Bishop Ajibade’s life exemplifies service, resilience and dedication, qualities that have strengthened both the university chapel and the wider Christian community.
Delivering the sermon, the Chaplain of the Chapel of Restoration, Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, Pastor Tokumbo Salami, charged worshippers to recognise divine direction in their lives.
Taking his message from the theme of the celebration, Ebenezer, he emphasised the need for individuals to position themselves rightly in order to access the help of God.
In his vote of thanks, Bishop Ajibade, expressed deep gratitude to God for his faithfulness over the years, describing the occasion as a testament to divine grace and help.
Bishop Ajibade also appreciated everyone who contributed to the success of the event and the launch of treasured legacies, saying the book represents lessons drawn from years of service, sacrifice and faith.
He prayed for God’s blessings upon all who came to celebrate with him and encouraged everyone to remain steadfast, purposeful and grateful as they pursue their individual callings.
Highlights of the event included the presentation of gifts to the celebrant, the cutting of the anniversary cake, and the official launch of the book by Bishop John Ibenu of Chapel of Freedom International Churches, Lokoja.
