The Chairmen of 21 local government Councils of Adamawa state, under the umbrella of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), has donated two brand new vehicles to People’s Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat, in preparations for the forthcoming council and general elections.
Speaking after the presentation, the ALGON Chairman, Mr. Suleiman Gangkuba, said the donation was driven by a sincere desire to see the party function smoothly and effectively, without operational hindrances.
He emphasised that the PDP remains a collective project that thrives on shared responsibility, sacrifice, and mutual support, especially at moments when party activities demand increased mobility, coordination, and outreach.
Gangkuba, said, the donation is timely and deliberate, noting that periods of heightened political engagement require practical support to sustain momentum and effectiveness, saying the gesture is as an expression of excitement, loyalty, and confidence in the leadership of the party. He assures that, local government chairmen remain firmly aligned with the vision and direction of the PDP in Adamawa State.
Responding, the State Party Chairman, Hon. Hamza Madagali, appreciated ALGON for the donation and expressed profound gratitude to his leadership for the thoughtful and purpose-driven intervention, which he described as a clear testament to the enduring cordial relationship between the party structure and the local government leadership in the 21 Council of the state.
Madagali recalled that this spirit of cooperation is not a new one, noting that in the past, the same body of chairmen had consistently risen to support the party by meeting critical needs that enhance performance, efficiency, and unity.
He affirming that the gestures strengthen internal cohesion and reinforce the PDP’s readiness to meet both present and future political responsibilities.
