Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s ancestral home, the Akuta clan of Ebira land, have expressed gratitude to Nigerians, especially, president Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the vice president, serving and past governors, ministers, other top government functionaries and the general public, who stood behind the Governor, to give his father, late Alhaji Ahmed momohsani Ododo a national burial.
The appreciation was made during the week by the traditional head of Akuta clan, H.R.H, the Ohi-Obe of Akuta clan, Alhaji Ondeku Ibrahim.
The Ohi-Obe who described the death of Alhaji momohsani Ododo as very shocking, said his death is a big loss to the clan and Ebira land in general.
The royal father, said that members of the clan are consoled that the late patriarch lived a fulfilled life,died a honourable death and left behind an enviable legacy.
Speaking further, the royal father described the deceased father of the governor as a man of immense humility, a renowned peacemaker and a successful farmer who touched several lives.
He then seized the opportunity to express gratitude to the former governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for the support and guidance he has continued to offer Governor Ododo.
While praying the almighty Allah to grant the late community leader Aljanat Firdaus, the royal father also prayed Allah to continue to protect and guide governor Ododo and members of the family.
