Abdulmunin Ododo donates Borehole to Ida-Ovu community in father’s memory

Hon. Abdulmunin Ododo, has donated a new borehole to Ida-Ovu community, in Adavi LGA of Kogi state.

The project was dedicated to the cherished memory of his late father, Alhaji Adayi Momohsanni Ododo, who recently passed away.

The Chairman, Ida-Ovu community, Hon. Yunusa Osuwa, who accepted the gift on behalf of the community, expressed the community’s overwhelming joy at the wonderful development, which comes days after his swearing-in as Chairman of the community.

Describing the borehole as a hopeful sign for more projects in the community, he extended the community’s deepest gratitude to Hon Ododo, for choosing to honor his father’s legacy with a gift of a borehole.

Hon. Osuwa, emphasised that water which is one of the most among essential need for humanity, makes the donation incredibly meaningful. He prayed Allah grant the late Patriarch eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Abdulmunin Ododo, stated that the project was dedicated to Almighty Allah (SWT) in his father’s memory. He also thanked the residents of Ida-Ovu for the immense love and support they showed his family during their father’s burial.

The event concluded with prayers from the Chief Imam of Alhaji Giwa Juma’at Central Mosque, New Zango, Adavi LGA, Alhaji Imam Rabiu. He prayed that Allah (SWT) forgives the late father of the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Adayi Momohsanni Ododo, his shortcomings and grants his family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
