Adamawa police command recovers stolen vehicles

Adamawa State Police Command, has apprehended two notorious youngsters in connection with a stolen Toyota RAV4, with registration number RSH 548 BB belonging to Mr. Aliyu Umar, of Wuro Hausa, Yola South Local Government Area of the state.

The Command’s spokesman, SP Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement made available to Journalists, attributed the success to the Command’s unwavering commitment to combating crime and ensuring the safety and security of lives and property.

The statement further said the suspects, Yusuf Isah, 25 years, resident of Wuro Hausa, Yola South Local Government Area and Faisal Mahmud, 30 years, resident of Kolere ward, Mubi North, are now undergoing investigation.

According to Nguroje, the suspects after stealing the vehicle, changed the number plate to avoid easy identification of the vehicle.

He added that: “This success resulted as a result of the investigation that was ongoing since 23rd December, 2024, following the complaint received from Mr. Aliyu Umar of Wuro Hausa, Yola South Local Government Area.”

The Police Command pledged its commitment to ensuring law takes its course, as he urged members of the public to provide timely information to the police.
