The Clerk and Head of Legislative Service, Kogi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Chogudo Ahmed, has said that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s infrastructural developments, recorded within the last one year of the All Progressives Congress led administration in the state are unprecedented.

Alhaji Ahmed stated this in a statement signed by his Deputy Clerk, Administration and General Service, Adebayo Aka, which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Sunday.

According to the statement, Governor Ododo’s road construction projects which cut across the major streets of Lokoja have turned the state capital to a beautiful city.

He explained that the reconstruction of the Zone 8 to Crusher Road, in particular, by Governor Ododo’s administration within the first few months in office, was commendable, adding that motorists plying the road daily now breath sigh of relief in view of the smoothness of the road.

He also noted that the reconstruction of the road has led to reduction in security risks and also serves as soothing balm for civil servants whose offices are on that road.

The Clerk also glowingly praised the Governor for being legislative friendly by granting autonomy to the State Assembly, this, the Clerk said, has made Kogi State to be a pace setter for other states .

Speaking further, the Clerk who described Governor Ododo as a democrat, pointed out that his democratic tendencies have ensured good relationship between the executive and the legislative arms of government in the state .

While reiterating his congratulatory message on the governor’s first anniversary in office, he prayed God to continue to grant the Governor all the enablement in piloting the affairs of the state to enviable heights.
