Hon. Muhammed Musa Lawal, the Executive Chairman of Ofu Local Government Council, has kicked off the distribution of rice to residents of Ofu Local Government Area.

During the flag-off ceremony, Lawal urged the people to remain peaceful and law-abiding as they celebrate Christmas.

He also encouraged Christians to reflect on Jesus Christ’s teachings, emphasising love, obedience, and sacrifice.

Lawal reminded them to pray for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, stating that the governor’s administration prioritizes the welfare of the people.

This initiative is part of the governor’s efforts to support residents, especially during the festive season.
