There will be no protest in my constituency -Reps Deputy Majority Leader

The Deputy Majority Leader in the House of Representative, Honourable Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali, representing Olamaboro, Ankpa and Omala Federal Constituency, has promised that, there will be no protest in his constituency.

According to him, he has done everything humanly possible in his Constituency to avert the upcoming national protest in his Area.

Hon. Ali popularly known as Halims, who stated this during an exclusive phone interview with our Abuja Correspondent, said he has been meeting with his people at the grassroot and is bold to said that there will be no protest in his constituency.

“Apart from meeting with critical stakeholders, we are also cushioning the problems in the country through empowerment programs, support of the less privilege ones and also through legislation to bring the situation to a bearest minimum.

“In my constituency, I have been meeting with them, discussing with all the stakeholders and I have the assurance that they will not partake in the protest.

On the general protest, he advised Nigerians to be calm. Saying the aim of the protest may not be achieve as criminals and hoodlums may take the advantage to hijack it.

“The government is doing everything to ensure the situation of the country especially the masses is ameliorated. As lawmakers, we are working hard at our various constituencies to support the federal government,” he said.
