Governor AbdulRazaq promises full rehabilitation for rescued Woro kidnap victims

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has reassured victims rescued from captivity in Woro community, of the state government’s commitment to their full recovery and rehabilitation during a visit to them at a hospital in Ilorin.

The governor met with the survivors, who are receiving intensive medical care following their rescue, and assured them that the government would provide all the support needed to help them recover physically and emotionally.

“We will stand by you throughout your rehabilitation and ensure you receive the care and support required for a quick recovery,” the governor told the victims during the visit.

Governor AbdulRazaq, who was accompanied by the Kwara APC governorship candidate, Rt. Hon. Engr. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, members of the state executive council and other senior government officials, interacted with the victims and expressed appreciation to security agencies for the successful rescue operation.

The governor also visited another ward in the hospital, where he spent time with additional rescued victims. The survivors expressed gratitude for his visit and commended the state government’s sustained collaboration with security agencies, which they said played a crucial role in securing their freedom after months in captivity.

The visit comes as the state government continues efforts to support the rescued victims while strengthening measures to improve security across affected communities in Kwara State.
