The executive leadership of the Mass Communication Students Association (MACOSA), Federal University Lokoja (FUL), paid a special courtesy visit to the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Kogi State, Barrister Muizudeen Yunus Abdullahi, SAN, at his residence in Lokoja.
The strategic visit was facilitated by the Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Youth and Women Mobilisation, Honourable Charity Ijese Omole, in continuation of strategic engagements between student leaders and state cabinet officials.
Leading the delegation, the MACOSA President, Comrade Aishat Musa Umar, introduced the executive cabinet and praised Barr. Muizudeen Abdullahi, SAN, for his visionary leadership, judicial reforms, and firm stance in upholding human rights across the state.
The student body particularly commended his active support for the Kogi Anti-Internet Fraud Campaign, noting that students look up to him as a legal role model.
Welcoming the executives warmly, the Attorney General offered deep legal and moral insights into the anti-internet fraud awareness drive.

He emphasised the core principle of active citizen vigilance, “when you see something, say something” while cautioning against the dangerous trend of societal stereotyping and youth profiling.
Barr. Abdullahi expressed concern that everyday youth lifestyle choices such as riding certain motorbikes, wearing trendy baggy trousers, or corporate-casual attire are often wrongly tagged as indicators of internet fraud. He stressed that real crime prevention relies on actionable evidence, law enforcement integrity, and sound ethics rather than superficial assumptions, charging students to remain law-abiding ambassadors of the institution.
During the visit, the MACOSA executives formally presented an official invitation to Barr. Abdullahi, SAN, as a distinguished guest of honour and award nominee at the upcoming MACOSA Annual Award Night, scheduled for 13th August, 2026.
The executive body expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Charity for her dedication to youth mobilisation and for creating another impactful bridge for student leadership development.
