BPSR said the award honours public officials who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to institutional reforms, transparency, and efficient service delivery.

Speaking after receiving the award, Barr. Jatto dedicated the honour to her team at Kogi ACReSAL and the people of Kogi State.

She said the recognition was not just personal but a validation of the collective effort to entrench international best practices in project implementation.

“This award belongs to every member of the Kogi ACReSAL team who works tirelessly to ensure our interventions reach the farmers, communities, and vulnerable groups we serve,” she said.

She added: “It will further inspire us to deepen reforms and improve service delivery for greater impact.”

She also commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his administration’s support to the ACReSAL project, noting that the Governor’s commitment to environmental resilience and rural development created the enabling environment for the project’s successes.

Kogi ACReSAL, under Barr. Jatto’s leadership has been implementing watershed management, land restoration, and community climate adaptation projects across the state.

The project aligns with the state government’s agenda on greening the environment and improving livelihoods.

Stakeholders at the event described Barr. Jatto’s leadership style as detail-oriented and results-driven, adding that the award reinforces Kogi’s growing reputation for excellence in public service delivery.
