Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has presented a thirty-two seater bus to Confluence Queens Football Club.

The gesture is to further boost the morale of the team and reaffirm his commitment to sports development in Kogi State.
A statement issued by the Information Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, James Sani , revealed that the State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, who presented the vehicle on behalf of the Governor, said the donation reflected the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment and sports development.

Hon. Fanwo assured of government’s commitment and support towards addressing the specific needs of Confluence Queens FC.
Governor Ododo re-emphasised that his administration would remain passionate about sports development with a view to repositioning the sports and youths in the state.
He used the occasion to further urge the players to remain disciplined and dedicated, while reaffirming his commitment towards prioritizing their welfare in order to place them above their equals across the country.

“This administration will do everything possible to create a more conducive environment for the players and that would enable them to focus fully on their career and deliver impressive performance in their competitions”, the Governor further remarked.
The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Honourable Aridaojo Monday, who received the bus through the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Momoh Azzez, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the governor for promptly addressing the transportation needs of the club.
Hon. Anyebe described the gesture as highly commendable, noting that it would greatly motivate the players and coaching crew to achieve greater successes on the pitch.
The Sports commissioner described Governor Ododo as a sports-loving leader who believes in excellence and outstanding performance.
He then assured the governor that the bus donation, will spur the team strive to win more trophies for Kogi State , just as he said they will not disappoint the state.
