Working closely with local vigilantes and forest guards, the team stormed Oke-Iya community, where three suspects: Idris Umar, Muhammed Usman and Abdullahi Abubakar, were apprehended.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the suspects are “linked to the recent invasion of Idiya community where five persons were kidnapped.”
