Ndidi Mbah, the general manager, Public Affairs Unit, who released this in a statement said the addition has increased the substation’s capacity from 300MVA to 450MVA, enhancing bulk power availability for Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), to supply customers in Ikorodu, Shagamu, Ijede, and surrounding areas.

According to its General Manager (Transmission), Lagos Region, Engrineer Adeshina Adeonipekun, stated that the project was completed in-house by TCN engineers in a record-breaking six weeks, aiming to strengthen the transmission network and improve power delivery nationwide.
