Adamawa CP deploys Marine Police for rescue mission as flood wreck havoc

Adamawa State Police Command, has deployed the Marine police to areas ravaged by flood in parts of Yola North Local Government Areas of Adamawa state.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, took an assessment visit to some flood-affected areas of Limiwa, Rumde, Shinko, Jambutu amongst others to assess the situation for necessary assistance.

The Cammand stated this in a statement through the police spokesman, SP Suleman Nguroje, that the Command is committed to ensuring victims of the flood are save.

CP Dankombo, therefore, called on the members of the public at the affected areas to remain calm, avoid flooded zones, and ensure the safety of their families and properties.

The Command also said in case of any emergency assistance, to kindly call the Command Emergency Numbers:- 08089671313 08036165701 for prompt response and support.

He noted that the Command is  assuring the public of its commitment to protecting lives and properties at all times.
