Igbo community leader facilitates with Government and people of Kogi at 34

An Igbo community Leader and businessman in Okene, Chief Joseph Anikwe, has congratulated the government and people of Kogi State over the successful marking of 34th anniversary of the state creation.

The message was contained in a statement issued during the week in Okene by the  leader.

Chief Anikwe, who is the President General of the Association of Igbo Community in Ebiraland, used the occasion to hail the government and people of Kogi State for their collective commitment to building a state of peace and prosperity, where mutual trust and confidence reigns.

In particular, the Igbo leader commended the governor of the state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his visionary and transformative leadership, that has given  renewed hope to the citizens of the state.

Chief Anikwe also commended the efforts of the present administration in the state for ensuring peace and security, thus creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

While calling on leaders and the people of the state to join hands with government to build a prosperous Kogi State, the Igbo leader assured the government of the loyalty and support of the Igbo community in Ebiraland.

He then prayed the state to continue to grow in peace, unity and prosperity.
