Tsigiya appoints new provost, college of Agriculture Science, two others

Adamawa State Collage of Agriculture, Science and Technology Ganye, gets new Provost, Chief Aminu Tsigiya approved by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

Gov. Fintiri, said the appointment follows the recommendation of the Governing Council of the College, after Chief Tsigiya emerged top during the examination for the position.

The Governor also approved the appointments of Yusuf Adama as Registrar and Mustapha Nasir asbCollege Librarian.

In a statement issued by the Chief Secretary to Governor Fintiri, said the appointments is with immediate effect.

While congratulating the newly appointed Provost, Registrar, and Librarian, he charged them to lead the institution with wisdom, integrity, and dedication.

Fintiri therefore urge the Provost to work closely with the management team to take the college to greater heights, ensuring academic excellence and practical skill development for the students.

Governor Fintiri also advised the new team to prioritise innovation, research, and community engagement, and to ensure that the college remains a hub for agricultural development in the state and beyond.
