President Tinubu Congratulates New Olubadan on Coronation

President Bola Tinubu, has extended warm congratulations to Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on his coronation as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadan, which took place on July 12, 2024.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, and made available to newsmen in Ilorin, Kwara State, President Tinubu expressed his joy and support for the new monarch.

The President joined the family of the new Olubadan, the citizens of Ibadan, the Oyo State Council of Obas, and the Oyo State Government in celebrating Oba Olakulehin’s ascension to the throne.

He praised the monarch for his wisdom, experience, character, and strength, urging him to use his position to promote peace, security, and development in Ibadan.

President Tinubu assured the new Olubadan of his full support and wished him success in his efforts to uphold and advance the culture and traditions of the ancient city.

He also congratulated the people of Ibadan on the peaceful succession process and prayed for the continued peace, beauty, and renown of the city.
