Police trails Mohammed’s killer in Adamawa

The Adamawa state police command, has commenced search over the dead body of a man, found in Girei local government area.

The body was found at wee hours of Monday, where a 46-year-old man whose name was said to be Ahmed Mohammed, resides in Hona ward (Anguwan Hona).

The Command revealed that the lifeless body was found hanging onto a tree at the foothills of Bagale Mountain under circumstances that remain unclear.

The authorities said the body is evacuated to Cottage Hospital in Girei, where a medical doctor later confirmed his dead.

However, the case is been termed sudden and unnatural death, with investigators working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Police Command hss appealed to members of the public to provide useful information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
