Stakeholders of Ojila Ward in Ibaji Constituency, in Kogi State, have endorsed the ‘Continuity 2027’ agenda, pledging support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Nwuchiola Egwaba.

The endorsement came on Wednesday, April 16, during a consultative meeting convened by the Deputy Speaker with political leaders, community influencers, and grassroots representatives in the ward.

Addressing the meeting, Egwaba said continuity in governance was critical to sustaining infrastructural growth and socio-economic stability in the constituency. She listed key achievements recorded under the current administration and urged stakeholders to support ongoing efforts to build on those gains.

Participants commended the pace of development in the area and called for stronger collaboration between government and local communities. Discussions also focused on transparency and accountability in project implementation.

Speaking on behalf of Ojila Ward, community representatives described the Deputy Speaker’s leadership style as “strategic and inclusive” and pledged to mobilise grassroots support to ensure sustained development and political stability.

“The ward is satisfied with her performance and we are ready to work for the re-election of President Tinubu, Governor Ododo, and our Deputy Speaker in 2027,” one of the leaders said.

The endorsement points to growing political alignment in Ibaji Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
