The Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO), has marked the end of 2025 with a message of gratitude and renewed commitment to its stakeholders.

He said despite operating in a start-up environment, NISO has made notable strides in grid operations, regional cooperation, and deploying modern tools to improve system visibility and coordination. The institution has also prioritised staff development, welfare, and industrial harmony.

Mohammed who highlighted on NISO’s achievements, which includes the historic regional grid synchronization under the West African Power Pool (WAPP), improved system operations, and expanded grid visibility through digital initiatives; attributed the grid’s stability to the professionalism and commitment of NISO’s system operators and stakeholders.
