While congratulating Engineer Aliyu Momoh Ezzu on his emergence as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the pioneer President of National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Olajide Ayodele, has called on him to ensure that Ogori/Magongo is made to truly feel that it is part and parcel of the state.
In a statement, the former NAKOSS leader, who hails from Ogori in Ogori/Magongo Local Government, personally signed, he described Engr. Ezzu’s emergence as both historic and reassuring, expressing that it would end years of marginalisation suffered by the people of Ogori/Magongo.
As he expressed felicitation with Engr. Ezzu, he remarked, “warmest congratulations to a dear comrade and a distinguished Engineer! May your tenure be marked by unprecedented progress and prosperity for our state.
“As we celebrate this milestone, the good people of Ogori/Magongo are filled with hope and anticipation for a chance to represent the Okene/Ogori-Magongo Constituency at the National Assembly.
“We are brothers, and even with the honour of holding the Governorship and other key positions, including the party leadership, the spirit of equity should remain the guiding principle. In the spirit of brotherhood and mutual support, I kindly urge you to look into this matter.”
Ayodele expressed optimism that given the new chairman’s exposure and disposition, he would address the perceived marginalisation being suffered by the people of Ogori/Magongo.
He congratulated him and prayed that his leadership will make the party stronger and unite members across the state.
