Kogi Govt Celebrates Sen. Smart Adeyemi at 63

The Kogi State Government, has congratulated Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi, CON, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.

Describing him as a courageous leader, a great journalist, and an accomplished politician whose contributions to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria remain indelible.

In a statement issued in Lokoja on Monday, by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, extolled the virtues of the former lawmaker, noting that Senator Adeyemi has lived a life of service, sacrifice, and patriotic commitment.

Governor Ododo said, “Senator Smart Adeyemi is a great journalist and an accomplished politician who has etched his name in the sands of time through service, sacrifice, and patriotic commitment to the development of our state and nation.”

Adeyemi, who represented the people of Kogi West Senatorial District three times in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, was praised for his passionate advocacy for good governance, his contributions to legislative development, and his steadfast defence of the interests of the Kogi people.

The statement added that as the distinguished senator celebrates his 63rd birthday, the government and people of Kogi State join his family, friends, political associates, and well-wishers in praying for good health, greater accomplishments, and many more years of fruitful service to Nigeria.
