Under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Kogi State has been recognised as one of Nigeria’s most ethically compliant states by the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO), a prominent international anti-corruption NGO.

The recognition and achievement of Kogi State’s ethical compliance was celebrated during the presentation of the Ethics and Integrity Ambassador Award to Hon. Ismaila Isah, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, for his dedication to upholding ethical standards and integrity in public service.

Prince Salih Musa Yakubu, Executive Director of the Centre, revealed that the award was the result of a rigorous 14-month independent undercover evaluation of ethical compliance practices in all 36 states of the federation, which affirmed Kogi State’s strong commitment to ethical governance.

Hon. Ismaila was recognised among the top 200 public officials at the sub-national level, endorsed by whistleblowers for his exceptional emotional intelligence, unwavering loyalty, adherence to professional ethics, and commitment to improving the welfare of the people.
