Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to serving the people of Kogi State by providing essential infrastructure.

The Governor made this statement on Tuesday during his visit to the Zango-Daji Market in Adavi Local Government Area.

This promise aligns with his vision for the state, as outlined in his Democracy Day message, where he emphasised the importance of delivering the dividends of democracy to the people, including security, unity, prosperity, equity, and reconciliation.

By prioritising infrastructure development, Governor Ododo aims to improve the quality of life for Kogi State residents and drive economic growth.

While interacting with market women, the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to serving the people of Kogi State, assuring the Zango-Daji community that his administration will construct a hospital in the town.

This commitment is part of his administration’s efforts to provide the necessary infrastructure for the people of the State.

“I decided to stop here to see how you are doing as your servant and I am happy that you are enjoying the road and the streetlights. I heard someone talking about having a good hospital here.

“You know I am your servant and you have elected me to serve you. Let me assure you, I will give you a good hospital very soon. Health is wealth and that is the reason we are investing heavily in healthcare so that our people will enjoy good health”, the Governor said.

The people of Zango Daji who were excited,  when they heard the good news, praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, affectionately calling him “Mr. Talk and Do” – a testament to his administration’s commitment to delivering on its promises.

Governor Ododo has been touring various projects across Kogi State, as he prepares to mark his first anniversary. This inspection tour is a clear demonstration of his commitment to delivering on his campaign promises and ensuring that the state’s infrastructure development is on track.

From upgrading the Adogo airstrip to an international cargo airport to approving the Ministry of Livestock Development, Governor Ododo’s administration is making significant strides in transforming the state.

As he celebrates his first year in office, it’s evident that Governor Ododo is dedicated to serving the people of Kogi State and leaving a lasting legacy.

The communities of Zango Daji, Shettima, and Barracks rallied together to express their heartfelt gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for completing two major road projects in their area. The first project connects Zone 8 Junction to GYB Junction, passing through Barracks, Shettima, and Zango Daji, while the second project links Zone 8 Junction to Crusher Road, via Confluence Stadium.

The Governor conducted an inspection tour of various projects across the state, including the newly rebuilt Local Government Service Commission House.

This visit demonstrates his commitment to monitoring the progress of ongoing projects and ensuring their timely completion.
