Gov Ododo committed to welfare of Kogi citizens- Hon Nihi

The Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters to the Kogi State Governor, Honourable Oladele Nihi, has reaffirmed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s dedication to the welfare of Kogians.

Speaking recently during a meeting with executives and members of the National Association of Ebira Students (NAES), Kogi State Polytechnic Chapter in his office in Lokoja, Hon. Nihi emphasised Governor Ododo’s commitment to the welfare of Kogi State citizens, particularly civil servants.

The recent payment of leave bonuses to civil servants, he said, is a significant action not undertaken for over a decade which demonstrates the government’s efforts to improve the lives of its employees.

Responding, the President of the body, Comrade Muhammed Ohinoyi, thanked Hon. Nihi for the warm reception, support,  mentorship and  advice.” We are inspired and feel honored to have had the opportunity to interact with you.”

In recognition of his support, Hon. Nihi was honored with “Champion of Student Welfare” award.  The award, underscores his dedication to supporting students in Kogi State.

The visit between Hon. Oladele Nihi and NAES, highlights the importance of student welfare and government-citizen engagement.

The meeting also reflects positively on the efforts of Hon. Nihi and Governor Ododo to prioritise the welfare of students and civil servants in Kogi State.
