Continuous Voter Registration hits 26,255 at 12noon today as registration commences

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has said that between 8am in the morning and 12:35pm this afternoon, its online pre-registration Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), that started today hits 26,255.

According to INEC’s CVR portal cvr.inecnigeria.org, this afternoon, and verified by our correspondent in Abuja revealed that 26,255 already registered.

“Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) portal (cvr.inecnigeria.org) climb to 26,255 as at 12.35 pm today, Monday 18th August 2025. “Register now”, it said.

It could be recalled that last week, INEC reminded electorates that the resumption of the nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) will resume on Monday 18th August 2025, nationwide with the online pre-registration of voters.

The physical or in-person registration will follow a week later at the 811 INEC State and Local Government offices across the country on Monday 25th August 2025. The list and locations of the centres, including dedicated telephone numbers for citizens in need of assistance can be obtained from our website and other online platforms. The active CVR Locator will also go live on Sunday 17th August 2025.
