The newly elected Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Comrade Williams Ojonugwa Ameh, has promised the people of a rebirth of the local government.
He made the declaration in Agbaduma Okpo of Olamaboro LGA shortly after he was declared winner of the just concluded local government election.
During a chat with the correspondent of The Graphic, he said he will be working with a seven-point agenda which are: A better security outfit, habitable Olamaboro LGA, improve agriculture to tally with that of the state government sustainable agenda, youth/women empowerment for a better standard of living amongst other. He also revealed that plans are on the way for young school leavers to acquire skill through a skill acquisition programme he will be championing and at the end, necessary tools will be made available to beneficiaries.
He also promised to build health centers for improved health conditions.
The Chairman thanked the state Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, APC leaders led by Honourable Abdullahi Bello, the APC state chairman and he promised not to let them down nor disappoint the peoples’ mandate.
