The House of Assembly member representing Ogori/Magongo State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Bode Ogunmola, has thrown his full weight behind the second term aspiration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Hon. Ogunmola, who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), noted that given the remarkable performance of the Governor in less than two years, he remains unbeatable in any electoral contest.

According to the Lawmaker in a statement he personally signed, said, “no one changes a winning team”, adding that it is practically impossible for anyone to unseat the Governor in 2027.

He further noted that the Governor’s popularity and his people oriented style of governance, was what informed his decision to dump the PDP.

“If service is ones driving force in politics, then, Governor Ododo is someone to align with. He is selfless and you can almost touch his sincerity of purpose”, Hon. Ogunmola enthused.

“Yes, we expect other contestants, but trust me, they will remain jokers because their defeat will be collosal. We will fully mobilise for His Excellency and it is on this basis that I can confidently say that there is no vacancy in Lugard House till 2031”, he re-affirmed.

He reiterated that electorate in his constituency are fully prepared to vote massively to reelect the Governor in 2027, noting that he has earned the trust of his people.
