The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Saliu Mustapha, has expressed deep sorrow over the killing of Brigadier-General Braimah, Commander of the 29 Task Force Brigade, alongside other soldiers, following a coordinated attack on a military camp in Benisheikh, Borno State.

In his condolence message, the senator described the incident as a painful and tragic loss to the nation, noting that the fallen officers paid the ultimate price in active service while defending Nigeria’s territorial integrity and safeguarding its peace and unity.

He commended the courage and sacrifice of the late commander and his men, stressing that their commitment to duty in the face of persistent security challenges will remain deeply etched in the nation’s history.

Senator Mustapha extended heartfelt condolences to the Nigerian Armed Forces, as well as to the families of the deceased officers, praying for strength, comfort, and fortitude for all those affected by the loss.
