Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello; the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo; and the Member representing Yagba Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide, on Sunday held a closed-door meeting to discuss the development of the state.

According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo, the meeting focused on attracting more federal presence to Kogi State, as well as addressing key issues of infrastructure, security, and general development.

Fanwo commended Rt. Hon. Abejide for his spirit of cooperation and commitment to the growth of the state, noting that the synergy among leaders across political divide was a welcome development.

“What they are working on will be of great benefit to Kogites,” Fanwo assured, stressing that the renewed collaboration will open fresh opportunities for the people of the state.
