From Taiye Joseph, Ilorin

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has described the appointment of Senator Ibrahim Yahya Oloriegbe as the chairman of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), as a well-deserved recognition of his expertise and contributions to the health sector.

In a statement issued in Ilorin by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for entrusting another Kwara indigene with a key national role.

“This appointment is a testament to Senator Oloriegbe’s commitment to quality healthcare and his track record as a medical professional. As a former chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, he has demonstrated a deep passion for policies that strengthen our health system,” AbdulRazaq stated.
