Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Odoodo, has sworn in Dr. Olufemi Bolarin, as Commissioner for the new Ministry of Lives Stock Development.

The new commissioner was sworn in during the State Executive Council Meeting held at the Government House, Lokoja.

The Governor charged the commissioner to remain dedicated and committed to his new assigned duty to building a prosperous kogi State.

Governor Ododo described the new commissioner as an asset to the state ; just as he urged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the newly created ministry.

While emphasising the need for effective service delivery, the governor also urged him to be innovative and diligent in the course of carrying out the new task before him.

Earlier, the Secretary to the Government of the State (SSG), Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, who introduced the new commissioner to the exco members, said the state exco members have a core value of unity of the state.
