It’s a historic event that will forever be etched in the annals of Adavi Local Government Area of kogi State’s rich cultural heritage, as HRH, Aliyu Otuhuo was coronated as Ajengwu Rei of Uka clan

The coronation ceremony was successfully held, graced by an impressive array of dignitaries and esteemed guests.

The ceremony commenced with a keynote address by the newly sworn-in President of Uka Clan of Nigeria, Hon. Ibrahim Abdulraheem, who expressed his gratitude to the dignitaries and revered Royal Father, who graced the occasion.

He noted that Uka Clan has navigated through various stages, including internal conflicts and misunderstandings, but praised the Royal Fathers for their wisdom in resolving issues and promoting peace.

Hon. Abdulraheem, specifically commended the Ohi Of Adavi, HRM Dr. Mohammed  Bello, for his exemplary leadership and empathy towards his followers.

He also acknowledged the role of the Former Commissioner for Works and Urban Development, Engr. Abdulmumuni Sadiq, in the coronation process, expressing appreciation for his commitment to the community.

The National President further noted that Uka Clan identifies with the present administration in Kogi State, praising its commitment to physical development and worker-friendly policies.

He also spoke on the issue of potential state and local government creation, urging that preparations should begin in anticipation of its realisation.

Similarly, the Youth Chairman Of Uka, Hon. Yusuf, in his opening remarks, commended the cooperation of the Royal Fathers as well as the entire Uka Sons and daughters for the unity that the community has started experiencing.

He called on all Uka Sons and daughters, to support and sustain the unity, emphasising the importance of collective effort in achieving the community’s aspirations.

Dignitaries at the occasion, include The Ohi Of Adavi, HRM Dr. Mohammed  Bello,  the entire Royal Fathers in Uka, as well as other revered Royal Fathers from Adavi Local Government, amongst others.

In a symbolic gesture, the staff of office was presented by Enehe Ozuri, the ancient and revered masquerade in Adavi LG. The procession was majestically led by Eku-oba, adding to the splendor of the occasion.

This coronation marks a significant milestone in the life of HRH Hon. Aliyu Otuhuo and  the community. It is expected to usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, and progress in Uka Clan.
