The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf, temporarily vacated his official seat for Adetolani Adekanmbi, a 12-year-old aspiring to be a parliamentarian in the future.

Adekanmbi was on a visit to the kogi State House of Assembly Chambers in Lokoja on Tuesday.

It was noted that Adekanmbi was accompanied by her parents and siblings to the office of the Speaker and revealed that she would aspire to be a lawmaker in the future.

The Speaker who encouraged the child not to give up on her dreams, said he could see a lot of potentials in her and that she would make a good parliamentarian in the future.

He also advised children not to give up on their dreams, while emphasising the need for parents to assist their children to become great leaders who would take society to greater heights.

The member representing Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, Hon Seyi Bello and other members of the Assembly were present during the visit and watched the scene with admiration.
