Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony in Inele, he highlighted his administration’s recent launch of a multi-million naira gas company in Ajaokuta, demonstrating the state’s support for innovative initiatives that drive development.

Kogi State Governor, represented by Executive Chairman, Olamaboro Local Government, Comrade Ameh Williams, reiterated his commitment to transforming the state into an industrial hub adding that the Governor’s administration aims to achieve this by attracting investors who will create meaningful employment opportunities for the youth.

He said, to support this vision, the Governor, has invested heavily in critical sectors such as security, healthcare, infrastructure, education, and more. Stating that the comprehensive approach is expected to foster a conducive environment for businesses to thrive, ultimately driving economic growth and prosperity in Kogi State.

The Governor urged the people of Olamaboro and Kogi State to support a groundbreaking project that promises to bring significant economic benefits adding that once completed, the project is expected to create over 6,000 jobs, boosting employment opportunities for the local population. Additionally, it will increase the internally generated revenue of the Local Government, contributing to the state’s economic growth and development.

“This company is for the entire State and Country in general. Bringing this company closer to the people is highly commendable. My administration in Kogi State will provide all the needed support to fast track the completion of this project which is expected to create thousands of employment for our Youths,” he added.

In his remarks, Prince Jacob Momoh, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jamub Group of Companies, emphasised that the development of the industrial park and pharmaceutical company demonstrates his organization’s unwavering faith in Nigeria’s potential and its people.

“This day marks not just the culmination of years of planning and hard work, but also the dawn of anew era of industrial growth, and opportunity for Kogi State, the region and our nation.

“This park is very dear to Jamub Group of Companies. It is a symbol of our commitment to building a commercially vibrant Kogi East.

We have long envisioned a space where industry, innovation, and community could thrive together; a space where dreams could take root, and businesses could flourish.

“Today, that vision becomes a reality! The Mary Ogwuche Industrial City Park is that space a carefully planned and strategically located hub, designed to foster collaboration, attract investment, and drive sustainable economic development.

“This park is not just a collection of factories; it is a carefully curated ecosystem. It will accommodate state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, supporting diverse industries, from agriculture and agro-allied ventures to other key sectors.

“It is a place where businesses of all sizes, both local and international, can find the resources, infrastructure, and support they need to succeed. And importantly, it is a place where people can live, learn, and grow — thanks to the inclusion of world-class educational institutions and a modern residential estate with requisite amenities.

He further stated that today marks a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony of Johnpaul Pharmaceuticals Limited’s Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Products Factory, a beacon of the kind of innovative and forward-thinking businesses we aim to draw to this industrial park.
