The Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja has commissioned it’s newly built Mass Communication Complex, thanks to the efforts of the institution’s Rector, Prof. Usman Salisu Ogbo.

The complex which was abandoned for several years, has been transformed into a state-of-the-art facility, complete with modern offices, lecture rooms, and a studio.

The building also features a conference meeting room, providing students with a conducive environment for learning and academic activities.

The Dean, Head of Department (HOD), and lecturers of the Mass Communication department, have expressed their gratitude to the Rector for fulfilling his promise to build the hall.

The Mass Communication Student Association (MACOSA) executives and students have also sent their appreciation to the Rector for his efforts.

According to the Rector, the completion of the Mass Communication hall is a major milestone in the institution’s quest to provide quality education to its students. “This hall is a testament to our commitment to providing our students with the best possible learning environment,” he said.

The new hall is expected to enhance the learning experience of Mass Communication students, providing them with access to modern facilities and equipment. The hall’s studio and conference meeting room are also expected to provide students with hands-on experience in broadcasting and journalism.

The completion of the Mass Communication hall is the latest in a series of infrastructure development projects undertaken by the polytechnic’s administration. The institution has also witnessed significant improvements in its academic programs, research activities, and student life.

The Kogi State Polytechnic community has hailed the Rector’s achievement, describing it as a major boost to the institution’s reputation and academic excellence.
